It all started with Saudi Arabia oil wealth in the 60s and 70s, the pact between the house of Saud and the Wahhabis. Throughout the 60s and the 70s, Wahhabism spread like a wildfire in the Islam world and pretty much most of the Sunni Muslims went from liberal Islam to Wahhabi dogma.
Being an ally of the US during the Cold War, the Saudis had tremendous influence in the world of Sunni Islam. Iraq, being Shia majority controlled by Saddam, a Sunni. Wahhabi schools popped up everywhere from Egypt to Malaysia and everything in between.
Afghanistan is no different. And it has probably 2 billion barrels of oil untapped oil reserves which makes it a strategic interest for the US and its allies.

That is absolutely false Afghanistan has no oil reserves nor gas reserves but this has nothing to with our country or has a effect upon us so I’d like to leave it for what is

I said probably and untapped for a reason; the point is not that about the oil ACTUALLY IN Afghanistan, it's all about the gas and oil in the Caspian Region. As I'm sure you know, Afghanistan has access to the large mineral reserves and oil reserves in the Caspian Sea area, and also sits in the middle and has become a traffic jam of pipeline proposals. Which is why I said it is a strategic interest for the US and its allies.

I blame Taliban for allowing a Saudi to settle In Their land and cause instability. Most of the 9/11 perpetrators were Saudi Arabian. Osama bin Ladin should’ve carried out his crimes in his village settlement of Najd. The sooner Taliban remove Al Qaeda from their land the better it would be for the country.
