I said probably and untapped for a reason; the point is not that about the oil ACTUALLY IN Afghanistan, it's all about the gas and oil in the Caspian Region. As I'm sure you know, Afghanistan has access to the large mineral reserves and oil reserves in the Caspian Sea area, and also sits in the middle and has become a traffic jam of pipeline proposals. Which is why I said it is a strategic interest for the US and its allies.

I blame Taliban for allowing a Saudi to settle In Their land and cause instability. Most of the 9/11 perpetrators were Saudi Arabian.
