Imaam of mudulood is imaam for the whole hiraab as he is direct descendant and first born since hiraab. So basically he is also the imaam for duduble,HG, other mudulood and sheekhal loobage. During the hiraab inmate, the yaquub imaam was the leader for all those clans.

The ugaas however is just the clan elder for Abgaals not any one else. The rest of mudulood and other hiraab clans have their own ugaas. It’s two different titles/and roles

Yes that its right. Only after overthrowing the ajuuraan empire, the imaam has become a much more important/bigger title

Not really. Maybe he has traditional authority in a sense but not more than hawiye traditional council. I mean he is the ugaas of murusade before he is the ugaas of Hawiye so if he had power I’m sure murusade like any other clan would’ve used that power to their advantage.
