Hayeey, the dollar shall collapse soon. We’ll return to silver and gold like the old days; american economic uncertainty is the global loss of confidence in the dollar.

Has nothing to do with Biden.

It is because of corona stimulus packages. This high inflation is currently present in most Western countries.

There are inflationary pressures globally due to COVID and it will continue in the near term.

I used to think the early 2010s great financial crisis money printing was insane, but damn, that was tiny in retrospect. They printed much more during the corona crisis.

It's crazy. Now tapering will start properly in 2022 and the global markets will react. The pull back will be felt in all asset classes.

Has been going up since Trump came to office and the corona made it worse .
Thanks Trump.

one positive thing about this is that I can sell my 2018 car for the first original price and buy a 2022 segsi car . Yay

what’s with Americans blaming the current sitting president for literally every problem. I remember they were blaming joe biden for rising gas prices and coronavirus cases in his first month of presidency lol.

Some things have been snowballing and gaining momentum for decades and can’t be stopped in one term. Especially inflation.

They are simply schizophrenic; on one hand they boast about their checks and balances and how limited their Government is -- even in regards to commerce; and on the other, they expect their limited Government to have unlimited control.

Americans seem to think that their Constitutionally limited President is an all powerful Emperor that controls the condition and trajectory of the economy; never mind that this is mostly a global supply chain issue that Biden couldn't possibly have any effect on.

Problem with America is workers can't ever benefit from the inflation. But the coming years will be interesting with the antiwork movement, it doesn't look sustainable that people face falling living standards.

Every few years they have a stimulus and everyone cries inflation. But it never happens

Wrong.

They never printed huge amounts.

Only in response to the 2008-2009 financial crisis and the corona crisis.

We shall see if this second attempt will be successful or ends in tears.
