So my Phd supervisor leads the Construction department, and said he can get me into the program. so it will be a Phd in construction.
personally, i feel like most universities do not have those courses, so it will be hard to become a lecturer, and i looked on linkedin and i do not see jobs specifically asking for Phd in Construction. what do you guys think? graduate with a Masters in Construction Management in Decemeber, or Do another 1.5 years for a Phd in Construction.
Most likely i will have to make my own path after the degree, I really want to be help in construction projects in Somalia, and actually bring value to the country, but i don't want my altruism to get in the way of feeding my family.
