First, there will be no criminal charges that can be levied against him from those AI images. I doubt there are laws regulating it. Even in a civil suit, he could hide behind working on his artist skills and he chose AI images that looked like Taylor Swift to get an audience - but he would state clearly that he never intended to harm her and would issue apology if his work caused her a discomfort.
In the long run, he may benefit from the notoriety and the publicity it generates. He will get a name recognition that he doesn't have now. Every guy will remember him the guy who created those damning AI images of Taylor Swift. Nowadays, many people benefit from notoriety and controversy, Donald Trump, Andrew Tate, etc being some of them. If he has a thick skin, he could capitalize on it to his advantage.

If he didn't make them, he is off the hook from legal perspective. If they were posted on a celebrity site that is publicly accessible, they can't sue him. All he has to prove is that the AI generated photos were already accessible to the public. It is no different than the images we show on Somalispot on daily basis since we get them from other sites that are accessible to us.
