If you are friends with someone from the same qabiil more than 6 years, they automatically become your cousin.

You never leave a Somali household without drinking shaah or juice.

Every Somali elder is automatically your aunt or uncle or even grandma or grandpa.

If a Somali elder asks you for a ride, you must always take them to their destination but first you will do grocery shopping, medicine pickup for them.

If you travel to a different country or state and you've a relative living there, they will be offended if you get a hotel. You better not tell them you're coming, if you want to relax in a hotel during your vacation.

If you decide to sleepover at a friends house one night, your Hoyoo will have a nervous breakdown :icon lol:

if some eedo sees u talking to some chick she gon call ur hooyo real quick
u can call ur brother waryaa but he cant call u nayaa
anyone from ur subclan is ur cousin no matter how long u have known each other
if u are at a restaurant and a somali comes over to ur table u must buy them shaax and let them eat with u

That's how I know your habashi, the real rule is you are not allowed to go to sleep overs point blank period. Lol @ decide
I meant if ur chilling at a friends house and decide to sleep over becuz it's too late to go home...not "sleepover parties" duhhh

Who actually sleepover parties though past the age of 10? I meant if ur chilling at a friends house and decide to sleep over becuz it's too late to go home duhhh

Mistake #1) Ain't no such thing as friends, hoyos don't believe in the concept of friends

Mistake #2) "its too late to go home" hoyo would have called you ever hour on the hour since when it was time to go home.

Again, the use of the word "decide", please stop the charade.

Lol I'm an adult. My Hoyoo wouldn't call me every hour to come home like I'm a child...unless it's really late like 3 or 4am. My brothers and I have sleptover at our friends houses cuz it was too late and we'd be tired and no ride back....and our Hoyoo would always become ballistic. You're reading too much into this walaal lol....

Obviously the rules are a bit more lax for males in all cultures, including yours.

You HAVE to greet them with "asalamu calaykum" or else they will complain to your parents saying your daughter ignored me yada yada .
I'm guilty of this i'm too antisocial and shy when it comes to guests i just wanna go to my room ... uff why can't they just allow it. :O27GWRK:
