A-lot of Somalis when they argue for their politiical idealogy support, it's usually one dimensional or compare with foreign experiment which do not fully capture multi-dimensional whether it's wise or unwise. The Hawiye who promote centralism, do not answer the faults of a weak federalism. They argue now 4 a centralized federalism that will lead to more power towards the center or mogadishu and is federalism in name only but in practise is centralism.
Answer these multi dimensionals points against your federalism in name only idealogy presented by Puntland.
1. Historical experience with civilian-kacaan govt and power abuses and regional economic isolation
2. Copying foreign models just leads to the same outcome on how we copied colonial foreign model with no local consideration or crafting to local realities or Somali characteritics.
3. How does it address civil war era that led to mistrust of govt
4. How does it address our cultural values of clan independence
If all that historical experience isn't enough, let your eyes see the four current powers delegated to the SFG is showing the same symptoms of power abuses, international aid allocation embargo on regions, corruption, nepotism, all these symptoms from the past are representing itself in the SFG.
If u can't manage the delegated tasks currently how can you argue with a straight face for more centralism? the only conclusion some have reached is political disagreement is a smoke screen only used to protect 91 loot interest so no political settlement and a strong govt thru diversity emerges.
