This is very interesting, Puntland only trails behind Tanzania and Kenya. Why didn’t they add total expenditure on education as a share of the GDP and also in absolute numbers. I’m sure Kenyan and Tanzanian education expenditures run into the billions, whereas Puntlands education budget doesn’t reach 20 million a year. It’s very remarkable how efficient Puntland handles its tiny budget.

Seeing Puntland listed with actual countries makes me emotional imagining what could have been! Ya Allah!

Same sis but it's never too late for Puntland to leave behind failed Somalia and start over.

You know Sool iyo Sanaag part of PL, right lool.

We both know that's not true, :dabcasar:

I mean they are death weight for you, you are better of giving the minorities more influence, that will definitely assure more loyalty and you can have more done.

In 2015 or 2014 puntland elections, faroole was about to lose seat to Ilkajiir.

Now in local one man one vote. They have chance to vote who represent them.

That's very true.

Puntland is a good example of how to efficiently provide much needed public services such as education on a small budget.

It is also worth noting that Puntland also gets additional revenue from school fees which is directly put back into the schools. The school fees collected from each school in PL never leaves the school walls, it is reinvested back into the school itself.

Can you imagine a parallel earth where we never joined the 68er’s union?

:mjcry:

It is clear that you are uneducated on Somali history.

There was no way Puntland would have ever become an independent state in 1960. Insinuating there was even a possibility of it occurring is laughable.

Furthermore, you do understand that the 68 IQ thing is a myth and even if it was true, that includes everyone within the current borders of Somalia.
