I don't like this Turkish influence at all.. Matter of fact I don't believe in Muslims brotherhood, every single nation Muslim or not are out to get their own interest.. Why are Somalis this ignorant? Why are we such a people who lack self confidence and self resilience, I mean we are ditching our cultural norms to take on the Turkish.. Uuff Somalis disgust me.

I refuse to learn or speak Turkish on my own god damn soil, here we have turks traveling to Somalia and doing business and only demand to communicate in Turkish, this in my opinion shows us the arrogance of the Turkish.. I wasn't referring to the names only.. Read the whole article and also I've been observing Turkish influence in South Somalia.. Why must we speak Turkish on our soil, I understand if you go to turkey you'll have to learn the language but on our soil this shouldn't be necessary, also Turkish flag is flying high everywhere.. Somalia is not poor, the poverty is due to the long Civil War combined with bad or lack of good leadership as well as knowledgeable citizens, with these parameters fixed Somalia can be one of the richest countries in Africa.. Just because you are poor doesn't mean you should sell out of your cultural values, making business or an alliance is not about getting dominated, this kind of alliance will not get you out of poverty but it'll make you dependant and those easy to control and manipulate.

A lot of languages including Arabic and English are taught in schools in Somalia. Why single out Turkish? Turkish is not even heavily taught like Arabic is
