For sure, the entire culture is allergic to manual labour, which is strange as chasing around livestock is as tiring, difficult and dirty as working with metal, leather etc. They sniff camels and other animals all day long but think they are better than others.
Alhamdulilah, I can see things changing though, more and more Somalis are turning to agriculture and also opening up vocational/technical schools.
Diaspora Somalis need to stop sending money to able-bodied people and only set up funds for children/old/disabled people. As soon as they finish high school/college, ignore them.

Weβre becoming like gulf arabs with minorities and ajnabis doing most jobs, because Somalis think theyβre above them. Only difference is weβre poor and theyβre rich. How can you shame a man for working hard to put money on the table for his family, whilst you are unemployed relying on your overseas relatives and trying to tahriib to another country?
