He grew up in the states. Family came to the states when he was 4.
In high school he was obsessed with basketball.
He told everyone he’ll be a professional basketball player.
After HS he drifted into the easy money making business. Was selling marijuana.
He was making crazy money. Wearing the latest sneakers and clothes.
He was arrested and spent 3 years in prison.
When he came out her was never the same.
moved in with his hooyo.
With a felony he couldn’t find that job he wanted.
Now is working at a dead end job
What shook me to my core is that he literally followed his mom back to Somalia to marry a thoroughly bleached xaliimo.
At least he listened to his mom. In her defense the son wasn’t getting younger (mid 30s) and no Western xaliimo was willing to marry a man with a felony. She probably advised him “son, it’s all about procreating now. It’s about your legacy. Hopefully your children will amount to something”.
I couldn’t believe watching his wedding that took place in Somalia.
