Somaliland doesn’t receive any money from the United States. Somaliland only receives development projects from the EU. This amounts to about 1/8 of what the EU gives to Somalia. Somaliland is 1/3 of the population. Somalia receives aid from the United States including direct budgetary support, paying the salary of the SNA and development projects. Somalia also receives direct budgetary support from Turkey and also they pay SNA salaries and development projects. Qatar also does the same and Saudi Arabia.

We havent even got into the UN and the Amisom peace keeping forces money. Somalia receives about 30-40 times the aid Somaliland does. Put that in your pipe and smoke it @embarassing

Lmao the UN envoy has to justify the lacag that’s being spent they’re there for somalia not Somaliland. In 2021 when there is the Security Council review and Somaliland and Somalia haven’t agreed on a thing somalia will not pass through to the next stage. Farmajo has been a blessing in disguise aswell as cancelling agreements with SL will tie Somalia’s hands at the review. Somalia will eventually be forced into referendum like Sudan after Bashir cancelled the agreed upon things with South Sudan.

You're missing the point. The AID Somaliland receives, just like every other region in the country contributes to the total aid Somalia receives. So if someone is trying to use aid as point scoring as if it goes to one place then it is retarded. The aid SL gets is part of Somalias total aid received, and according to some reports it gets the most in the country.

@JohnQ should keep that in mind next time he uses Somalias total aid received as an insult.

There is no shame in receiving aid and actually making something of it. What we see is that Somalia recive 90% of all aid and nothing to show for.

No progress whats so ever since 2012.

Somalia still gets more than Somaliland tho,

So the fact is AMISOMIA as a whole country receives more aid than SL and still ranked the most corrupt, terror-stricken, no army having government to exist.
