UN Security Council ask SL to comply with the arms-embargo on Somalia

Somalia got angry that its sovereignty was transgressed on and pleaded with the UN Security Council for help... It worked guys, Somalia managed to get the UN's attention..

Somalia has previously urged the UN Security Council to take action against the construction of the UAE base in Somaliland.

When the United Nations Security Council finally asked Somaliland to comply with Somalia's demands this is the response they got....

The report also noted that the panel of UN experts did not receive a response from authorities in Somaliland when they were asked to comply with the embargo in place.

The report, yet to be released, notes that the UAE has carried on with the construction of a military base in Berbera in Somalia's Somaliland region, including the transfer of military equipment despite international resolutions against these arms shipments.

The somalia government should focus on actually controlling more than just a capital of the country which they are supposed to govern and improve the equally bad umeloyment rate, school completion rate, lack of any healthcare or infrastructure etc instead of complaining about a military base in a part of the country they don’t control when there are multiple other countries with military bases within Somalia.
