UK Sky News is about to release a documentary on ISIS in Puntland.

Why does ISIS and Al Kebab never attack or operate in the North

IS is extremely weak outside of West Africa, so it's hardly "kicking". Only IS-Sahel and IS-WAP are growing in any real capacity, and only the latter has a long-term growth trajectory(former is heavily limited by it's much larger rival, JNIM).

They launched some attacks in 2008, but have largely failed to secure a foothold because:

1. When they sent a unit to attack Mumin back in 2016/2017, they got wiped out.

2. SL is a qabil project by Ishaq, they monopolized all power, and so there isn't a power vaccum where AS can play different clans against each other.

3. SL is (somewhat) less retarded than the FGS.

Interestingly enough, IS supporters used to use the AS-SL conspiracy to persuade militants to defect.

Meh 50/50 covering. Too much focus on isis and not enough focus on our army and its valiant commanders and the victories under its belt.
