People say it is bad for privacy and i see that from what jahboy @Riftvalley expressing about grey areas. This is probably going to be bad for palestinian advocates and the like
However in basically every other situation i dont think of this as a bad thing. Social media is poision and life is better without it. Especially adult materials should be put behind lock and key at the least Preferably blocked and deleted. If im in power im gonna lash gooners then tell their parents to marry them off

I believe this is a test run soon it will be worldwide uk just where they will enforce it first

Yes it's definitely a worldwide thing

UK

EU

US

AUS

CAN

It ruined my internet experience. There’s no way I’m uploading any of my photos or ID only for them to get leaked. A simple VPN can bypass it. I can't even view someone's reddit page that's marked as 18+

I support the premise. But the onus should fall on the parents, I wouldn’t let my kid anywhere near the internet/social media and severely limit technology. They’ll be outside.

I totally support this, it's very good for the youth. But at the same time why now and not earlier?
cuz everyone’s hating on israel

ppl like tommy robinson and other far right commentators were making fake news on migrants for years and this type of shit had ppl doing attacks on immigrants and muslims (christchurch example)

now everyone’s hating israel they doing this it’s so obvious
