Im tired of these people. Its hard to consider other western Muslims close when they send thinly veiled disses towards us. What do they mean by this? That we take ourselves more seriously. Are we truly shaming each other for upholding our deen? I know this tweet doesn't speak for all but the way the people are acting. I worry for our future.

Furthermore dating. I remember the days when we would hide such acts in shame but now we broadcast it to our millions of followers.

Yeah I know what you mean. The hard-core social media preachers. I never listened or grew up on them. My teachers were from my local mosque and were very soft spoken and funny. I think social media gives a distorted image of the average UK muslim and preachers from here. The debate bros from the UK are often more famous because their approach is far more entertaining. But to turn UK Muslim into a sneak diss is wild.

Call them Salafi preachers, that's what they are after all.

Recently i joined a tik tok--a man called himself Ustaad -something- he was talking about this mixed uk girl- Cadaan and somali- he was judging her- they met in their local islamic center., this man judged and judged her about her mother being a haraam, therefore she is a haraam. I interrupted him being kinda annoyed and asked: Why didn;t u marry her Ustaad? She is a virgin, mixed race, and she has interest in Islam. And u just said u saved her from joining the Shia?
