Goal is to get into more investments


I was shocked to find out from my cousin that Somalis in U.K don’t have credit cards at all. Actually lots of stuff they are behind in.

1. UK geeljires don’t buy homes and simply live in council houses there entire lives. Some grown men never even move out. Rest of us in the U.S, Canada, and and Australia have surpassed you guys in home ownership.

2. Very few own credit cards or have any credit score.

3. Here in the United States most kids there drivers license at 16 max 17/18. But in the U.K you have some who don’t have one at 21+ that’s shocking.

4. With 90% of geeljires in U.K unemployed too and living off CEYR shamelessly (that’s for women and children not grown men) it’s disgraceful. Where I live you will get clowned if your a physically able-bodied male since there are a surplus currently of jobs and opportunities.

I would agree on all your points. To be fair, earliest you can get your license is at 17 in the UK. Canada, Australia and the US are enormous in size, so the businesses are more plentiful so there's more opportunity.
The credit card perks are rubbish in the UK not as much incentive to get it.
Average graduate pay is like 2x in the US and there's a ton more hustle culture. None of the infrastructure is built in the UK for us Somalis, so literally we kinda have to be the path finders.

It's a different country. I don't think there are decent paying jobs for most guys in UK. If the UK government gives free monthly welfare benefits then let the brothers eat and live free. Yes in USA we got great credit and home ownership rates because it's a larger land here more spread out and more opportunity.

In US there are also a lot of Somali dudes with bad credit who can't get a credit card or auto loan. UK guys can't even do Uber I heard became you gotta learn the roads and shit.

I barely work in Uber and pull in easily $1,000 or more a week or take some weeks off if I want. Silly IT recruiters call me for $20/hr low paying IT jobs so Uber is where I stay as it pays me $40/hr.

I sold my house and live with grandma now for free and save all my Money. Once i get to $200k or more I'll just maybe retired l in Somalia.

Also get to enjoy unemployment insurance from the state while I do Uber too. I just tell them my Uber earnings for that week and the State gives me the rest of the money in UI which is around $500 a week on average from state unemployment insurance.

Also life is harsh and hard here in the USA. Lucky Somali dudes in UK get free housing and free income. Wow European and British benefits are good for them. Here the brothers divorced their wives and became alcoholics and a lot of Somali women went with Ajnabi mathow or whites.

Boston Somalis are still normal and drug/alcohol free I heard, but the Minneapolis and some other areas like Toronto and Cali and Ohio Somalis are gone with Fentanyl drug use, Alcohol and more.
