France is not Spain/Italy tier though. It is pretty much the same living standard as the rest of Western Europe.
PS. Northern Italy is super rich, it is just the South that's dragging it down.
I think the reason for low number of Somalis in France is due to their refugee policies. Probably they suck or something.
North Italy (with the exception of Trentino-South Tyrol autonomous region, being significant better in quality of life than rest of North Italy, going in the direction of 1 world regions and countries like Austria) is second world region.
They are rich you are right about that, but they got serious issues like heavy air pollution more than even Poland, Serbia and Bosnia.. there are official european analysis about it.
I met zoomer Somalis that actually live and work in South Tyrol that arrived in Italy from Sahara-Mediterranean route, they confirmed what I think, obviously they did smartest move they could do while they stay in Italy nation, as long they could travel to developed countries like Germany ecc..
Spain (and Portugal) are significant better than North Italy (but still not Germany/Sweden/Austria level of course) in quality of life (letting alone massive pollution, there are serious laws and infrasctructure problems there) so..in my opinion..it is not correct to put Italy and Spain in the same category (I visited all these places I cited there, I was in Faro, Lisboa, Valencia, Madrid, Nice, and I know Italy even better than these places, from North Italy to South Italy.
