Over here in the US we got like thousands that are serving life in prison. Like around 100,000+ prisoners are serving life time sentences.

Reason am asking is because I saw a YouTube clip about a prison in Norway that looked pretty cool.

Like if you kill a single mother raising kids by herself than you basically just screwed over her family. Kids gonna be put up for adoption. Put through fosters homes where they might be separated. Just crappy life.

True monsters like that should be punished for life. Especially the more henious the crime.

I’m pro death penalty as well especially for confessed killers and rapists.

Numerous studies have shown that the scandi system of rehabilitation is far more effective and reduces reoffending than the american way.

Scandi system seems nice. It was mostly a shocking thing when I saw the video at first. Than I searched up their life sentences and learned the max time sentence is 21 years. But can you really compare the scandi system to the American one. America is way different than it. It is way larger than it as well. Criminals grow up different over here. Different ways of life. More people in general
