Firstly, there is no place in Europe or UK where the Somalia population is concentrated in one place like they are in Minnesota and can use Somali(and Qabil) mobilisation. Here in the UK, we are numerical Laangaabs with heavy concentrations in certain areas where Somalis are the still the minority. For example, in the London constituencies around the East, North West and West, there are “many” Somalis , but we are still completely outnumbered by Asians and thus those areas are returning Bengali and Gujarati Indians MPs. The constituency system is very different to the US system. Only extremely politically savvy groups can target certain constituencies and work out which wards they can easily take. The first female SIKH who was elected from a Birmingham constituency is probably from an area with a heavy Asian presence (similar for Southall, Leicester etc). Somalis are too disorganised and tribalistic to think on such big boy political terms. They blindly vote for Labour without thinking about getting their own people in.

Secondly, tribalism has destroyed places like the UK. There is no shying away from that. All of these “communities” and dusty little operations are run by qabil politics. They don’t even know how to use qabil wisely and try to get people elected into councillor jobs.Some Somalis are natural xaasids and would destroy their own for a few pennies fork the alt-right, as you all saw with the Ilahngate saga. Bakhti mindset and low aspirations keeps them eating rice and pasta at the same place for the last 15 years.


The good thing is that the changes to the benefit system and the ban of khat is slowly changing the culture of Somalis in the UK. We will see improvements in about 15 years time. Somalis are also improving in education in the UK.


Thirdly, it would take a dynamic young Somali who can transcend qabil politics and appeal to other ethnic minority voters in strong Labour wards to get elected. Even if that person is found, it would be hard convincing Timajilic to vote for a Somali( these guys are very tribal with their politics).

Lastly ,UK MPs tend to stay in their positions for years and years. Some areas have elected the same individuals since the 80s.

Most somalis just came in the UK early 2000s and we came as refugees what money did we have to spend and also we weren't thinking we would stay abroad for long our parents were thinking we'd go back at any time and still do to this day inshallah.

1- Different economic models as @Shushue already stated.
2- Language barrier. You can not get a job(not even as a cleaner) unless you can speak and understand the language.
3- Immigration and immigrants are weaved into the fabric of USA. You'll find all kind of cultures there and newly immigrants are accepted and can integrate quickly.
3- More opportunities in North America than European countries, as you guys have bigger population and economy.
4- North America is capitalist while Europe is socialist. The government can take up to 1/3 of your income as tax.

I'm not an extremist and I never said I was perfect.
Who said I was anti feminism I just disagree with certain groups of feminists since feminism these days aren't focusing on one or a few clear goals, it's ambiguous.
