The amount of times al shabaab used the same tactics and kill a lot of soldier, overrun the whole base, capture a lot of weapons is too much.

There is no doubt that certain politicians and even commanders are in cahoots with the khawarij, but that will not stop the campaign. At most, it will slow its pace.
Don’t underestimate the national army because the same soldiers that were attacked liberated the regions that you seem to believe the macawisleey liberated.
There is a reason why they put so much effort into propaganda, and that is because they are in a losing battle. With every town they lose, they are losing manpower, sources of funds, and the air of invincibility they have been projecting for years, a reality that won't change with propaganda.

You seem to be forgetting that a certain most wanted somebody was living down the road from a pakistani military academy.
