Uganda is the same country that kicked out Asians in 1971 under Idi Amin the US are trolling them. I already made a thread about the Ugandan weightlifter who was attempting to claim asylum in Japan and went missing for 4 days which goes to show how bad things must be in Uganda.
'Kindness' has very little to do with it. Power and money is everything; Uganda was twisted to the will of another Nation-State.
The Ugandan 'economy' (like every African 'economy') is virtually non-existent, so it's comically easy to bribe, induce, coerce and direct them to do something that's not in their best interests.
Do you know what Uganda's budget looks like for a population of 45 million people? It's just under $5 billion dollars.
Let's put that in perspective by comparing it with a significantly smaller Nation -> Singapore; the island City-State has a population that is smaller by 40 million and its budget is 10x larger at $50 billion dollars.
Australia (25 million people) has a budget that is 100x larger at $500 billion; I know, it's not technically fair to compare Uganda to Australia, but I want to illustrate a point about how far behind African Nations are.
Museveni actually regards himself as some sort of indispensable genius with those figures, and it's why he won't leave after 35 years at the helm.
