I’m really confused.
Is the rule about: women preventing the request to give men their ride to a destination? or is it to prevent men from sitting on the front seat?

If it’s the former: isn’t it sexism?
If it’s the latter: I completely understand.

Fair argument. It’s same thing with the trans women in women sports. They’ll probably let them in. And won’t make an issue. Women (for some reason) aren’t threatened by trans women. But that’s a very good point you’ve made.

I think this whole rule thing is understandable but unnecessary. Most women aren’t uber driver.

I believe this means they will allow women drivers to choose to avoid men riders, and women riders to choose to avoid men drivers - which isn't sexism. It addresses safety concerns

If these Uber drivers (especially the immigrant FOBs) had learned to shut up, this probably wouldn't have happened. I've rarely had a normal Uber driver. 85% of them want to tell you their dumbass conspiracy theory about world politics or what they think about certain ethnic groups.

I had this ethiopian uber driver who was gurage or some smaller habesha adjacent tribe and he kept going off on oromos and how “we need to deal with them accordingly”

I’ve actually heard the main reasons why women never play this role being a cab,taxi,Uber is mainly for these reasons. It’s the fear of being caught on act by weird men. They’re scared. And it’s our fault. SMH. But this will benefit the unemployed women for being cab drivers.
