Nice documentary, the traditional wedding is much better than modern Somali weddings. Never understood the need to wear white dresses, exchanging rings etc. Or when the wedding is segregated but you have a male singer present, whats the point .

The reer magaal groom seemed way more childish then the reer miyi groom. The reer miyi groom seemed more...refined in the way he spoke. And what kind of 29 year old plays ball with the neighborhood kids lol

I loved this documentary tho. Not needing the subtitles in a foreign documentary because its in your own language is an elite feeling. Especially when it's in one of your hometowns and you've visited places in the documentary. I loved seeing young Somali couples back when I was in Hargeisa and I still do. For some reason they are 200% more cuter than all other types of couples on planet Earth for me.
