Two Somali young girls but different upbringings.

This video in itself is problematic. There is no need for comparison. Everyone's relationship with allah is unique. One can get the message of this video across without putting the young girl with the black hijab on blast. At the very least, her face should have been blurred.

Yeah its weird they shouldve atleast blurred the girls face.

Could not a girl be both i.e. go to school, study hard, and on an off day, toy a little with degeneracy and decadence, whilst in the eve reciting Qur'an to remember purpose of one's creations? More rounded, I would think, and most likely would remain on the right path by the time she is in her 20s.

It is all about upbringing. Kids from 'good' homes with 'good' parents [mostly] produce 'good' kids whereas lost children grow up to be poor parents, and by extension produce poor kids! Cycle of life.

Religious girl on deen > I would have trust issues for a wishy washy type of chick. Choose a lifestyle and go your own way.

Why are you watching clips of young girls and judging them. Bottom is a very learned and knowledgeable girl at her age Mashallah. The top is just vibing. Both look around 10 or maybe younger. Who cares bro.

That video went viral on tiktok regardless. It wouldn't make a difference whether her face was covered or not.

This truly puts things into perspective, one is working for the here after meanwhile the other is working for the dunya. It almost feels like one is pleasing the lord while the other is pleasing the devil. Kudos to hafidul qura'an and may allah keep her stead fast on her path. Also may allah guide the other one with the very problematic behaver, sad to see the adults around her encouraging her and playing along instead of correcting her.

You can’t even tell if the girl at the bottom doesn’t also have the same kind of innocent fun at a wedding, or what the top girl’s level of understanding of the Quran is solely based on these short clips.

Man I clearly remember how the adeers used to grab us as kids and make us dance with the little girls at the wedding to embarrass us. Al-Shabaab and TikTok did a number on my people.

I wouldn't be okay with grown men watching videos and judging my under 10 daughter/sister.
Why is she going viral dancing on the net in the first place.

Anyways I personally blame the parents not the young girl. the young girl is not to blame at all. She is just going as she has been taught and raised upon.

Their upbringing is not a prediction of how they will turn out as adults. People choose their own paths, sometimes opposite of how they were raised. We never know what's going on behind closed doors..

I see nothing wrong with both girls. The man who made that video is just doing it for views he should leave both of them alone and mind he's business to be honest. They're both young who knows how they will turn out in the future they might go opposite ways

I don't know why I'm sharing this story but I remembered a hafidhul quran homeless lady who ate khat and smoked cigarette back home.

Deeqo would go from stall to stall in the suuq, begging for money. My habaryar use to refuse to give her money and offer to buy her food instead. She told me that the poor lady was married off to an abusive man at the age of 14, which messed her up psychologically. On Fridays, Deeqo read Surah Kahf out loud and people in the suuq would formed a circle around her, listening. It was a breathtaking view.

There was this young imam at the local masjid who loved her dearly (I think he was a codependent). He proposed multiple times. She would agree, ask money from him to beautify herself for their upcoming wedding and disappear for a month or two. She eventually died from malaria. May Allah have mercy on her soul.

There's nothing wrong with that little girl dancing in Aroos/Xaflad. What I find strange is how degeneracy is more tolerated in xamar. Check out these ciyaals making out in public in southern somalia.
You'll never see teenagers being allowed to behave like this in other parts of somaliweyn.

People have more pressing matters to worry about, I think. And who is to say what that woman and her legion of guys would do to someone who publicly admonishes them. What would stop them from coming to someone and causing them harm. Dadkan dadki hore camal ma aho. Waano ma raban mana maqlayaan. If they don’t fear Allah, and have no shame there’s no saying what they would do to someone.
