Naw there is a difference. Chileans,Argentinas look different than Mexican. People can definently tell. I work at the airport, like 95% of the Spanish speakers I meet here are either from chile and Argentina. These people honestly look pretty European. I usually think they are French or Greek at first but than they start speaking and I assume Spain.

Of course theres a difference but do you think some ignorant person cares to learn the difference? That's why I said a decent amount rather than all.

I know a Chilean looks nothing like a Puerto Rican, nor does a Puerto Rican resemble a Mexican. Think of the people she's hanging out with, they don't seem like a well educated and inquisitive bunch.
