Turks might be slightly less racist than many other countries as they let so many refugees go through their country and not just Syrians.. Lots of Africans get smuggled through Turkey. If they were genuinely racist like China/Japan etc they wouldn't even allow that.

A family friend who traveled through turkey said Turkish police never troubled him when he lived there without papers. When he arrived in Greece he said the police there beat him.
