Turkey-Somalia pact: Who stands to gain?

Turkey. They get more influence on the state of the nation then ever before. This is not to say Somalia won't benefit, this is chance to establish a connection that will allow arms and training for naval and ground forces. Win-win honestly.

they will def take much more than 30% and they will constantly insult you behind closed doors but its better than nothing i guess. Hopefully even 1-2% is sent toward the millions of IDP across the nation

Both sides will benefit from this if you look at it this way - Somalia sits on a strategic location between africa and asia, and the turks want to have an influence over it. Comparing turkey's partnership based approach to western countries and their neocolonial tendencies, it becomes clear that turkey is the country that best serves somalia's interests.
