Walz is a wonderful choice. Some comments i found explaining the reasons he was picked: Sounds like he is very popular and loved by Minnesotans
Tim Walz hunts. He ice fishes. He was raised in a town of 400 people. He served 24 years in the Army National Guard while he taught and coached football. He knows rural America and can plainly tell how Donald Trump doesn't understand it. He can speak plainly to family farmers and Rust Belt workers in union halls. He's everything JD Vance cosplays as.
Walz is a great choice. He’s not afraid to take the fight to Republicans and he passed Universal School Lunches, Free Tuition College, Passed Paid Family Leave, and legalized marijuana. He’s a popular governor and he isn’t scared to fight back against Republicans. Plus, he passed the legislation I stated with a one seat majority.
There's no way any candidate was going to win over Trump supporters. All they needed to do was avoid losing progressive voters, and Walz is a great pick for that.
Walz is a wonderful choice.
Yeah, he’s progressive enough ( reer Minnesota dont have to pay for college because of him) but he’s not perfect. He does not sound like an anti-establishment pick so no big changes are gonna come from it, he is safe option for democrats.
He ain't a Bernie Sanders which would have been a better choice imo.

Bernie Sanders is a full blown socialist. No one wants him to win. Do you know his economic plans? He may be associated with the democracts but he is independent. He does not sound like an anti-establishment pick so no big changes are gonna come from it, he is safe option for democrats.

Let me remind people on this read that this is more than common place for police in America to do race based policing and investigate people solely for their race/ethnic background.

A Minneapolis cop told Somali American teens he was proud U.S. troops killed ‘you folk’ during Black Hawk Down. The police union fought to keep his job anyway.
The officer’s words—described as volatile, prejudiced, and horrific—remained a secret for five years. They highlight the Minneapolis Police Department’s troubled relationship with people of color, and especially the Somali community.sahanjournal.com

“If you f*ck with me, I’m gonna break your leg before you even get a chance to run,” Officer Roderic Weber told one of the four Somali American teens in the car. “I don’t screw around.”
“Can you tell me why I’m being arrested?” one of the teens asked.
“Because I feel like arresting you,” Weber replied.
“You’re racist, bro,” said one of the teens.
“Yep, and I’m proud of it,” Weber replied.

Full blown socialist. Denmark is a capitalist country. It has free market and not a planned economy that Bernie wants.
Denmark's prime minister says Bernie Sanders is wrong to call his country socialist
Lars Løkke Rasmussen said that while he’s flattered to see Denmark discussed in a widely watched US presidential debate he doesn’t think the socialist shoe fits.
“I know that some people in the US associate the Nordic model with some sort of socialism,” he said. “Therefore, I would like to make one thing clear. Denmark is far from a socialist planned economy. Denmark is a market economy.”
In Rasmussen’s view, “The Nordic model is an expanded welfare state which provides a high level of security to its citizens, but it is also a successful market economy with much freedom to pursue your dreams and live your life as you wish.”
@Idilinaa. Here mr. Oromo apologist socialist.
Are you denying what the prime minister of Denmark have to say?
The economy of Denmark is based on a mixed economy, that resembles a market economy. The country's economic system combines elements of a market economy and a planned economy, individuals are free to work, produce, consume, and invest in any way they please.
Insane delusion. I have never seen a person as pathetic as you.Corporate greed is a real thing in America, you can clearly see it in the wealth inequality. Thats why you have people called ''The Working Poor'' in America, they earn less so that owners can have millions and billions despite doing very little work. It's pure exploitation.

There is nothing wrong with socialism if balanced, just like there is nothing inherently wrong with market capitalism if regulated.
The prime minister is half right. There has been tons of analysis of Denmark's Economic system and they concluded that it's a mixed economy, with both capitalist market economy and socialist planned economy

It's not my fault that Oromo's terrorize you in your sleep and made you into loser that barks all day.
Delusional is the troll that argues for the sake of it and doesn't know what a planned or market economy is.Insane delusion. I have never seen a person as pathetic as you.
You saying the the prime minister of Denmark who has been the finance minister of Denmark and prime minister of Denmark for 7 years is half right. Crazy and then you brought up some obscure analysis from a shady website full of ads concluding Denmark has a mix of planned economy and free economy.
Denmark is a free-market capitalist economy with a strong social welfare safety net for its citizens.
I still disagree with social programs being considered socialist. Just because the practice fits the description of Karlm Marx the jew, doesnt mean that it is intended to be considered socialist. This is the same arguments for when people seeks align socialism with Islam, because we too have social programs. A wealth tax of 2.5 percent of any muslim is redistributed to the poor. Can we call Islam now a socialist religion or a faith compatible with Socialism? No. Absolutely no.Delusional is the troll that argues for the sake of it and doesn't know what a planned or market economy is.
Doesn't matter what the prime minister says, you have a brain use it to form your own independent thought instead of appealing to authority. I can quote to you other prominent Danish politicians that disagree , all it comes down to is ''he said she said'' argument.
What is that strong social welfare ? it's a planned economy where the government redistributes the wealth.
All of this is socialism:
Universal Health care, Free Education, Social security, parental leave, subsidized child care, affordable housing initiatives, labor rights and unions, high taxation to fund welfare program's
Denmark has socialist parties within it's leftist government coalition, like the Red-Green Alliance and the Socialist Peoples Party.
So yes it's a mixed economy that both combines capitalist market and socialist planned economy. It has state/public ownership in key sectors like for example , energy, transportation, postal services, schools/universities, hospitals/health care, broadcasting, telecommunications, utlities(water, waste, heating) etc .
It's not a hard line free market economy, like in America where even the prisons are private corporately owned for profit.
Social programs and socialism are not one in the same, social programs are meant to provide safety nets within a capitalist framework where as socialism is about redistribution of wealth and involves some level of state/public ownership of means and production.I still disagree with social programs being considered socialist. Okay so what? Denmark, Norway and Sweden have free market. It has multi billion dollar companies. Do you think Novo Nordic market value of 570 billion dollars would exist in your socialist fantasy?
USA similarly has social programs. Lets call USA a mixed of planned and free market economy. Almost all countries have social programs.
