The thing is she is a politician so she is expected to have an opinion and will be asked what her views are. I’m not sure if her keeping her mouth shut would work.

All she needed to say was “I condemn political violence in all forms no matter the motivation” - something even I, an inexperienced person with no political ambitions can come up with.

I’m a Ilhan supporter but I agree with you on this.

I have a feeling that she raises a lot of money from all this negative attention because I can’t think of any other reason as to why she decided that her opinion was needed. Especially when they always misconstrue whatever she says. And she knows this very well.

She needs to stay out of these culture wars and just focus on her discrict/policy making.
