Hate on me all you want, but what was wrong with what he said? I know the problem is not on a massive scale, but there is a problem.
1) He didn't attack the MN's Somali community - he attacked the new incoming refugees that are joining terrorist groups.
2) He said he's for strong vetting. I don't know how that will work or if it will be effective, but if keeps out terrorists - I don't see the problem,
3) He said his administration will contact and ask the communities for approval of new arrivals. What's wrong with that? Look at St. Cloud.

Terrorism isn't caused by refugees, it's caused by a failed foreign policy and subsequent terrorist groups rising up and brainwashing young kids even white kids to join them.
He didn't say anything bad about them.
The worse he has said was "your schools are bad" as a reason to vote for him

Terrorism is on a new scale right now and it's different than before. Like I said before, I know it's not on a massive scale and "if" it prevents for them to come through, why would anyone have a problem with that. Also, why should communities be forced to house refugees if they don't want to? They will be taxed to pay for the services such as schools and also community relations wouldn't be good. Also, the refugees could face problems, like discrimination. So, why not put them refugees in more Liberal areas like Minneapolis etc.

It's the same, Islamist terrorism is born out of failed states and wars. What's different is that more wars, foreign intervention and state failure has occurred breeding ISIS which competes with Al Qaeda because it's a great racket/money spinner and the competition bred more violence/extremism.
Name the great many non American citizen refugees, surely the vast majority be refugees if the best way to tackle terrorism is by focusing on refugees. The fact remains that it's an ideology, which is propagated both abroad and in the USA and targets young people regardless of their refugee status to join them. White, Asian, African etc everyone is represented in ISIS.
