Just before he ordered all American troops to leave Iraq after his generals were telling him how Iraq could be the battleground between US and Iran but next thing you know he threatens Iraq with heavy sanctions if they force US troops to leave. US war since 991 on the ME has been to destroy the Sunni Arabs.which they have done only thing is they woke up to find that the vacuum was not filled by their puppets but Iran which has become a big player in the middle east.

When US was living Iraaq they left ISIS replace them and also helped ISIS expand to Syria.

So the game plan was Shia and ISIS backed USA to fight for years and drain off Iran.
But the Russians came in and it was game over to ISIS.

Iranian empire has been consolidated from Tehran all the way to Lebanon and as Far as Yemen.

US wants to destroy Iran but there is no simple solution.
No sunni mujahideen like in Afghanistan.
They cant reproduce another Bin Laden because most of the sunni youths have been killed or are refugees.
