You're from Scandinavia. They literally have the lowest marriage rates in the world, yet (correct me if i'm wrong), the women are still partnered up and are in long relationships. Their situation is completely different to AAs. From what i've seen the dad is still in the picture and mum and dad are still together, so its like a marriage without the ring and paper.
