That guy was killed many years ago.
Al shabab controls large swaths of land in Mogadishu, but they operate secretly, theres an unspoken rule of being lowkey and not reporting their activities, they carry out assassination on whoever they want whenever they want, the people are too scared to do anything about it.
Its very hard to stop teenagers armed with pistols waiting for you in alleys.
