In the very first month both Somaliland/Puntland declared their opposition to the SFG neutrality stance
South west, Hiirshabelle and Jubaland both declared the same 2 months later.
Galmudug is the final state that broke the neutrality stance almost 5 months later, holding out the longest.
Let's examine this! we already know that Somaliland/Puntland/Jubaland (in that specific order) were being bankrolled by the UAE before Farmaajo, they also own their national assets and pay the salaries of their soldiers.
Hiirshabelle/Galmudug/South-west had no such connections with the UAE, both South-West and Hiirshabelle opposition came after clandestine needless meddling by the SFG that was openly supporting the motion to oust both leaders in which they got successful with Hiirshabelle as well as the aid scandal.
As for South-West to add insult to injury the great injustice regarding aid distribution, giving them the least despite their huge numbers, a week later Sakiin sought alliance with black water and the UAE and broke rank as a result of the incompetence of this government.
The SFG meddling and tensions with Galmudug were simmering for months culminating in the Qalbdi Dhagax betrayal which was the final straw that broke the camel's back, a state with no ties with UAE, was pushed towards them just like Hiirshabelle and South-west were prior because of their utter incompetence.
The question that any person with a sound mind should be asking is how did the government screw this up? how did they manage to break the record of not having a single federal state that backs them ??
No one is asking these important questions, even HSM at his very worst time had 2 federal states that backed him, why does Farmaajo have NONE ?
It seems like every month a new record is being broken, from being the first Somali government to have officially handed over our war veteran to our enemy, to now the first ever Somali government with no federal state backing.
