Okay, I made friends with a Mexican Republican from one of fb groups. We hated each other at first, but then when explaining more about our beliefs and backgrounds, turned out we have alot in common. She told that all Somalis were 1. Black and Arab mutts 2. We're all into Sharia law and worshiped Arabs. 3. Never did anything and only had huts 4. Loves socialism. 5. Worship Obama and Omar. After telling her a couple of things and showing her this site, Her response about nationalist Somalis: Somalis seem to have their head on the right place. Lol . Had a debate with a neocon that actually went to Somalia during the 1960s for missionary work. He didn't understand why alot of them were hostile towards him. The problem that alot of non-Somalis don't understand is that being charitable, especially from a foriegner is seen an insult. You have to understand that precolonial Somalia is very nationalist, conservative and our sultans and Kings are more titles and they had to be voted in. Alot of issues arises from the UN trying to force a centralized government and to force Somalis to share resources with Bantus and other Africans. The only reason why Europeans were even able to colonize the land with you guys had the help of Ethiopia, Kenya and Bantus and Portuguese' slaves you freed there. It's if the English came over and said that they had to colonize north American because they wouldn't share their resources, while condemning you because of the southern plantation and you need to free them. Or what about Germans just busting to help fight in the Civil War. I'm sorry but giving the people stuff isn't going to really going to do anything but create a dependency on others, which develops into resentment. The best way to would be leave it alone.
