They literally used the same map from last year. I did a research paper on this last year for my American government class. The Kurdish forces are literally completely wiped out. Trump stopped funding them months ago.

There is no consistent war in Somalia. Alshabab vs FGS only started in 2006-2007. We have only been fighting for the last 10 -15 years against Al-shabab.

There is no more wars except between Somaliland and Puntland skirmishes.

70-80% of the population is sunni the army is probably around the same. Why would these soldiers go out and kill their fellow Sunni brothers. Iran doesn’t have a strong presence as you would think in Syria. They have a few bases were the extremist were and a couple near Israel which is their real goal.
