"On Friday, the California-based company said in a regulatory filing that the personal data of 0.1% of customers – or about 14,000 individuals – had been accessed by “threat actors”. But the filing warned that hackers were also able to access “a significant number of files containing profile information about other users’ ancestry”.How you feel when your data can be somewhere there in the dataBreach websites?
The sad part is that it only goes back a few 100 years. How are you a full Somali and don't know your ancestry at that length of time. Of course most of us are 100% Somali on the test, we never left at that time. How you feel when your data can be somewhere there in the dataBreach websites?
There's nothing more or less accurate on a DNA test. It just clusters you with a group from their database. 23&me had a campaign where they had a bunch of Somalis do the test to create the Somali group in their database. If they're Somali and we're Somali, and the data is connected to them, then why the fk would any of us waste our money doing the test there?I heard 23andme is more accurate.
ancestryDNA dont have y-DNA tests only autosomalI have noticed that Somali only go to 23andme and avoid ancestryDNA lol
So where do you suggest we take our tests for accurate results? There's nothing more or less accurate on a DNA test. In fact it is a blessing to know that.Paying money only to find out your 100% somali is hilarious.
Thats good you get to have the privilege to call everyone else a murtad.Paying money only to find out your 100% somali is hilarious.
It is but most find out about their lineage by their teen years. I mean tge biggest surprise you'll get might be Yemeni or Habesha blood. But that's to be expected. In fact it is a blessing to know that.
23andme about to make somalis establish a blood purity caste system.Thats good you get to have the privilege to call everyone else a murtad.
In my opinion you must have 2 Somali parents from the major clans to be full Somali. (100% Somali DNA).23andme about to make somalis establish a blood purity caste system.
There are quite a few sheegatos who like to tarnish the Somali image. This is crucial so we can expose them.In my opinion you must have 2 Somali parents from the major clans to be full Somali. (100% Somali DNA).
If your father is Somali but your mother is non Somali you are Half.
Whereas if you have non Somali father you are instantly not Somali.
Also if you are a male that does not have the E or T haplogroup you are also not Somali.
I agree. However I think half Somalis can be more integrated if they are brought up in a somali environment. In my opinion you must have 2 Somali parents from the major clans to be full Somali. (100% Somali DNA).

Honestly, I don't really have a suggestion. If I were to do a test, I would do it with an organization that can give me my data and then use that on another tool so I can look for myself on what I am according to different databases. Probably using GedMatch. Though I don't think I'd be interested in doing a DNA testSo where do you suggest we take our tests for accurate results?
