Same. At first i found it kinda scary but that thrilled me even more. You just need to keep your guard up the entire time. Make sure you know your surroundings. I used to take public transit around the city from 11pm to 6am because I was bored. Transit at night has tons of weirdo homeless on the buses.

The irony is I swear to god for me nighttime has been undoubtedly more comfortable and safer than broad daylight Y’all won’t believe the amount of crazy shit that happened to me during regular hours from 7am-9pm, starting from Ethiopian fobs harassing me up to a homeless cadaan guy trying to xoog me … yes I’m not even making that up.….my life is so crazy.

I live in uk and us so

when I’m in America (Columbus) I have my pistol (sig sauer p365) with 19 bullets in the magazine and my concealed carry permit, im out and about with friends clubs,hookah, restaurants or parties , just hanging out downtown whatever lol. There’s a bunch of stuff to do at night.

but I understand if you don’t go to those types of places there really is no need to be outside past midnight unless it’s work.

I even take my gun if we fly to other cities your allowed to lol, I remember we went to Vegas and I took my gun in my checked luggage you just have to fill out a form and make sure your states permit has reciprocity with the state your going to.

when im in the uk im doing same thing but with no weapon but uk is much less dangerous and there’s a bunch of other people out enjoying the night, since London is a city of 9 million.

in London unless you are a ciyaalsuuq involved in gang beefs the chances of someone coming up to you to rob you is very low

and im a man so I have the testicular fortitude to be out whenever I so please or feel like
