I confess I've grown to Iove all versions of you. How could I not after reading your articulate threads, laughing at your countless humorous replies and qashin-ing your absurd posts while somewhat amused by your audacity. My favorite being the rare moments your bravado mask slips and you show vulnerability.

To me, you are not a random user.
I become happy when you share your success and root for you when you communicate your aspirations. I'm inspired when you narrate the life hurdles you've overcame and worry when I don't see your posts for a while, making a silent prayer you are safe wherever you are.

You see, I've learnt to appreciate the complex soul you are. One that I'll never fully understand. Yet, I feel connected to your humanness for our souls seem to have somewhat intertwined after having access to each other's unfiltered thoughts.


In an attempt to free myself from arrogance and stubbornness, I extend my hand to you dearest. Let's get rid of these unwarranted squabbles that has infiltrated our haven. Yes, your hurtful posts breaks my spirit. Your mean comments replay in my head the days I feel low. Your degrading remarks towards my gender chips away my self worth. Still, I can't seem to quit you. I crave your opinion and your validation. I crave to be unconditionally accepted and to connect to my roots. You and I keep coming back for the same reason. Our need for a sense of belonging.


So let's be kind to one another and admonish with compassion. Remember, there is a real person behind the screen. Your words have effect because you matter.
