Growing up, Hooyo would always go thrifting, she was an avid thrift shopper, wayyy before goodwill was popping.

I was so embarrassed, I always used to tell Hooyo that I was never going to step foot in a thrift store ever again (as soon as I grew up).

fast forward a couple years and it’s “trendy”/ cool to thrift, there’s so many vids on yt about hauls, etc.

What do y’all think about thrifting? Is it weird? Do you thrift? Would you thrift?

Gurlll I LIVE for thrifting! It’s so much fun and you find the cutest unexpected looks. I go thrifting at least once a month and spend like 3-4hrs in there. My mom hates it and shames me for it but compliments my clothes before she finds out they’re thrifted lol

I’m planning on going on a thrifting haul, I used to be ashamed as a kid but I no longer feel that way. Much love to you! Even the Hoyos gotta admit that the fits are bomb lol

Ngl when I was an ciyaals my hooyo would take me to value village on Islington and let me pick whatever I want I'd post up in there for hours looking for fire fits

I'd handwash tf out of them and pull up to school in trueys and adidas tops for practically free I was drowning in dat good good tough times made me who I am
