That's quite the investment
Zelda is an nintendo exclusive so you'll have to buy that console and sea of thieves is an xbox/pc exclusive however its the kind of game you would want to play with someone else instead of solo.

I would say if you want to take it slow look at a bunch of games and see which ones fall into what category exclusivity wise and then pick a console or pc based of which ones you want to play the most otherwise buy every option if you don't mind spending extra.

Most people have a PlayStation since that were all the good games are at alongside an nintendo if they are into nintendo game.

Xbox isn't really necessary since pc is the best and you can play all xbox games on pc because Microsoft owns xbox so you don't ever really need to buy an xbox it's mainly between buying an nintendo (if you like the games on there) alongside a pc or a PlayStation based on if you want to play any PlayStation exclusives or not or you can buy all three. I wouldn't say its expensive but it depends on your budget. Overall compared to other hobbies it's rather inexpensive.

I play league on and off. I peaked gold and quit last time I genuinely tryharded back in s6-7. I’m mid/jg but used to be top riven. But I got to gold with lux mid. What a cancer game, my personality started morphing into a monster and I even got chat restricted at one point(I am extremely rarely toxic to randos online but league pulls it out of you).

Recently I started to feel it’s call but it’s not time yet…

If I could pick a harem from the champ roster I would choose miss fortune, sona, Kai’sa, Irelia, riven and katarina. My favourite male champs is the and ekko
