The justice system back home is absolutely fucked back home. 3-5 years for murder is fucking insane. These are men that should either be executed or serving life sentences.
Let me get this straight. Three men raped a mother and her two daughters and then killed them for aano qabil and the best sentence they got was 5 years? joke of a country. Even in clear cut cases Somali women are denied justice.

i still haven’t seen any updates about the man that burned his wife to death. I’m not even sure if he’s still in prison. I’ve been waiting for news of his execution but im afraid we’ll never see it happening.
They’ve hade a few cases of those lately in that region
With whom? There was big outlash with this case because it’s not normal at all to kill and r*pe women and children for aano qabil purposes.
@Devilsadvocate its not that common tbh but there was the mentally ill guy shot to death by two women, a 13 (?) yr old boy stabbed to death by a group of men as a response, the murder of a pregnant woman before that, two school kids too .. these are the cases I remember from the last couple of years in that region. Only place in Somalia I’ve heard of so many aano qabil cases involving women & children
