Gunmen in Burkina Faso killed 37 Canadian workers.
Burkina Faso, a landlocked extremely poor country has its resources exploited by Canada and France and workers are forced to work in extremely inhuman and cramped working spaces in the gold mines.
Due to its low living conditions, and no direct access to sea, the Burkina Faso government allows exploitation of its country and people and who can blame them?
idk whether to praise the gunmen or whether to shun them. Whether to stand in solidarity with Canada or shun them.
These are questions that attack our moral compass.
Me, personally, I take this particular event as a jab to many rich and powerful countries (such as China) that continue to exploit poorly developed African countries

This is a typical living condition in the Gold mines of Burkina Faso
I fear the same could happen to Somalia’s oil reserves and trigger citizens to revolt in similar fashion to Burkina Faso’s latest attack.
