Thoughts on Pan-Africanism?

I think that personally africans have little to do with each other. Gaalo or westerners group somalis under "sub saharan african". Even though east africans specially horners have little to do with the rest of "black africa". Black as a concept only works outside of Africa. It is also a social construct, some gaalo see horners as "exotic" same with the italians and spainards due to them not fitting the caadan or madow types that westerners made. That is my own personal opinion feel free to discuss.

However I do people believe that in the west. Black people experience the same experience. So there is unity in that at least in the west. Though that is it really. Race means little and is all made up by Anglos and Spaniards to justify treating fellow humans as inferior

The problem is that African Americans tend to treat black africa as this one homogeneous people after colonization there was no goal needed to be achieved by africans. Only europeans can really unite due to geography and them being quite close to each other in culture and genetics

The problem is that African Americans tend to treat black africa as this one homogeneous people after colonization there was no goal needed to be achieved by africans. Only europeans can really unite due to geography and them being quite close to each other in culture and genetics

African americans have an interesting history and in spite of the adversity they faced,created a unique culture and made significant contributions to entertainment, inventions, science and much more.

Niger Congo people look up to ethopia, it might lead them identifying with things that have little to do with them. African americans have an interesting history and in spite of the adversity they faced,created a unique culture and made significant contributions to entertainment, inventions, science and much more.

They have a beautiful culture and history. No one should care about their distant caadan italian ancestors or enslaved african ancestors.

So they can be called "invaders" despite them being there for over 12k years. Genetically they are of ancient eurasian ancestry from the back to africa migration even then maghrebis are their own distinct people. That makes them unique. Native means the first people there otherwise, no one is native to their own lands and everyone should go back to east africa by that logic.

West Africans have a rich culture and history. Mansa musa was the goat. He went to egypt and crushed the whole economy because he was so rich and humble he was also muslim. There was a black west african man who became a japanese samurai. Racist caadans have tried to make it seem that they have no culture and history and pan africanists never bother trying to reconnect with their roots which is unfortunate. It is so beautiful

Yes mainly african americans. Very rarely is it an actual nigerian. Because they know their history and culture and take pride. African Americans do not know their origins. Why do so many Somalis think like this? Why do you guys want to be distant from black africans so much but as soon as someone brings up caucasoid skull or arab lineage you guys don’t mind being lumped in with other people. Black africans are not the plague. Literally the entire world sees us no different to a black from cameroon or tanzania.

Judging by the vast majority of new members im seeing posting the same racial theory bs, it seems most young somalis genuinely believe they aren’t black and should be seen as separate. i used to be like this but i changed to avoid the heartbreak of my inevitable madownimo

My friend no one is saying that. If you read my comments, I said that people in the west that are black can have a unity because of common experience. Outside of that, it means little. That whole caucsoid skull is racist and has been debunked. It is more about the culture and the history rather than looks. People can't even tell the difference between maghrebis and gulf arabs. It's simply ignorance. Somalis are black, who isn't saying that?

There is a difference between unity of black people through common experience. Not all black people are africans. Second pan africanism includes north africans. All these countries have little to do with each other, majority maybe due to race. But pan africanism in africa does not work because race does not exist there except maybe north africa because they can be very racist

Does not work. Ajnabis that are muslim do not even treat other muslims well. Look at how arabs treat pakistanis. Although somalis are muslim they are still black muslims and treated very badly in the arab world. That is a fact, they are treated way worse than in the west
