Murtads start out as muslims. Also i feel like you are making weird remarks that are very harmful and hurtful. It feels like we as muslims have so many enemies from outside and within. This thread started out as a my thought experiment. I wondered what would happen to Al Shabab if the population were not devout Muslims but Christians in Texas. The conclusion we all draw is that they wouldn’t exist because they would have no support or sympathy. This anger and violence toward them would have been driven in part by Islamophobia.

It’s ok to criticize your people from time to time. Muslim diaspora who return can’t understand why the president talks about “winning hearts and minds” and not hold people accountable.

I was just pointing out that from my uneducated perspective secularism only comes when a society is educated and is wealthy i.e they are able to eat and drink clean water have shelter able to work and a re paid a lovable wage. I.e the basics.

Look what they did in Albania they literally banned Islam. You could not even pray or acknowledge there was a god. Yiu could not even say Inshallah. You could not circumcise your sons or give them Islamic names. Even in private you could not call them by an Islamic name. Albania did some good things like they actually had human rights and womens rights but we need to find a balance. We should not kill murtads non muslims etc we should not kill homosexuals we should not stone people we should be democratic we should not force people to wear hijab people should be allowed to drink alochol smoke without being brutally punished. However we should promote Islam and hope people find their way to the truth. People like you will just end up destroying our nation. Progress will be slow and will take forever. Accept that and move on.

I’m in favour of religious freedom. It’s just that we need to detox from this backwardness we’re in right now. Perhaps implement the Albania model for 50 years.
