Most somali diaspora i have meet could care less about religion i believe that the majority of somalis in the diaspora don’t even believe in islam but are cultural muslims. I just want to mention this is not accurate. They didn't just arrest random young men, those men they arrested were gang members. Bukele would not have the massive popularity he has in his country and region if they just blanket arrested their young men simply for being young men... they simply went after the gang members although there were some mistakes where they did accidentally get some ppl wrongfully but generally those ppl were gang members.

I'm with Cush, I think you should read Kitab at Tawheed or some of his books. As far as I'm aware, his books are perfectly fine (besides maybe some errors as of course the Sheikh wasn't infallible). I don't know of anything in his books telling people to go beat up Sufis or anything like that.

With any kind of belief, there can be people who go too far. You might talk about modesty and chastity and someone somewhere does an honor killing. Some guy might become a vegan and start getting aggressive with his non-vegan relatives. There was even a vegan woman who they say shot up the youtube headquarters.

I don't think it's kitab at tawheed telling people to go join AS groups. most of these ppl.... they are following ppl like Osama Bin Laden or daesh... I think those kinds of figures are pulling ppl towards that sort of sort of thing, I don't think it's some chapter in kitab at tawheed warning people that grave worship is shirk.
