I think I will be forced to take the booster shot as you aren't allowed to cross borders to other EU / EEA countries without a booster shot soon.

It is most likely coming from labs. Reminds me back then 2000s when the anthrax was used to generate hysteria. It was reported later on to be a hoax. How are they quickly discovering the new variants and then they have booster shots immediately? As far as I'm concerned, the only way that can be done is if one develops the variants in a lab and then comes up the "antidote" as soon as they come up with these variants.
