I don't care
The late Rosling assumes Africans will take up Western norms of having only one or two kids.

I really doubt it. The richer Africans get the more kids on average they'll have with better infant mortality rates.

Africa today is still dead poor and the population growth rate could actually still end up higher than what's currently being calculated.
I'm planning on saving money to build a survival bunker with a vertical farm and a garage your never prepared enough and I will be their while the world meets their doom and dajjal

Overpopulation !!

The world will reach 9.5 billion by 2050 and 11.7 billion by 2100

Most of the increase will be in Africa as it adds an unfathomable 4 BILLION PEOPLE to its a already ailing continent

Wallahi there will be war and chaos the purge will become reality in Africa

I hope I'm not alive to see it , humanity will reach crazy levels

Most definitely the us will nuke Africa

We need to get ready Ethiopia will be the top 10 most populated country on the planet with nearly 500 million people

I've lived in Africa, even lower middle class educated Kenyan's were on average are having 3-4 children.

At 13:50 in the video Hans Rosling does admit that Africa will continue growing for another 30 years, but will balance out the decrease in Asia's birth.

It's true, that culture and attitudes on getting more kids will need to change but providing education to women, better opportunities for men, and a stability in life etc. will make many want to have less kids.

Most countries in Asia have decreased the number of children as they prospered, even many muslim countries like Malaysia and Bangladesh. With the exception of the gulf arabs, as their income rose, the birth of children rose. But they aren't really educated tbh.

But we got extreme Muslims in somalia who dislike non islamic education and won't send their kids to one

Even if somalis stopped reproducing at such rate it would not make a tangible difference on a global scale. Walaalayaal we are already minority boorka iska shafa oo waxaad dhali kadhaan dhala, kollay hindida tiradood gaarimaynee sidaay u egtahay!

The birth rates of Gulf Arabs are not high at all. Other than Saudi Arabia, they’re below replacement level.

Qatar = 2.01
Saudi Arabia = 2.71
Kuwait = 2.07
UAE = 1.77

Even Israel has a higher birth rate at 3.09.

:drakekidding:
There was a time when there were barely any extremists before the civil war. Many just go down that road out of desperation and war.
Majority of folks don't hold that belief and the ones who doesn't take their kids will be in trouble with the law the way the rest of the world does it. (I'm talking about laws that can be enforced 20 years from now, not today.)

The Bantus will swallow us whole. We have a few decades to pump out as much oil as we can and build a giant wall.
